Work Camp Mission Trip Update!
We are confirmed to travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the next Mission Trip. Our trip is set for July 8th through July 15th, 2023. We are planning for 37 campers and 3 red shirts to go. There may be more spots available if needed. Meaning that we may be able to take more than the current 40 we are planning for.
There are many chances to use our fundraisers. We offer a number of different fund-raising options to help offset the cost of your trip. You can participate in as many or as few of these fund raisers as you would like. You can also assign your Scrip rebate to your Work Camp account.
The Work Camp Mission Trip is a great experience for the youth of St. Kilian and St. John to serve others and grow closer to Christ as they do so. They will also experience the amazing power of working as a community to do God’s work. Registration for the 2023 trip will be due at the first meeting, which is in September of 2022.
Mandatory meetings about the trip will occur in the odd numbered months (Sept, Nov. Jan...).
If you are a youth who will be entering 9th grade in the Fall or a senior who will just be graduating, you are welcome to join us for the Mission Trip as there is currently room still available. This is an out-of-state overnight camp. The current estimated cost of this trip will be around $600 - $700 per Work Camper. However, the final cost will be determined once we have confirmed our attendance.
If you yourself, or if you know of someone who wants to join us on the next trip, please fill out, or have them fill out, the registration form and return this form along with the required $100 deposit.
Give this some thought and prayer, please, and if you have any questions, please contact Ron Weber at 262-707-2939 or Dan Feiter at 262-224-4928.
